SEO STRATEGY STEP-BY-STEP
Considering all the issues and shortcomings of the website, we decided to divide the process into several stages:
Stage 1:
- Technical audit of the website — one of the main tasks before starting the work
- Analyzing the website’s content from the SEO perspective and developing the promotion strategy
Stage 2:
- Correcting technical issues
- Optimizing pages for job offer categories, which was set as a priority task by our client
- Blog optimization — while we were working on the priority tasks, the client decided to optimize the blog as well
Stage 3:
- Developing and implementing a link-building strategy
- Acquiring external links
SEO blogging — an example of a successful case
- Collection of semantics around the relevant queries in this niche and selection of topics for the blog
- Developing technical tasks for the blog. This involves the following steps:
- Identifying user intent (users who use queries from the cluster to search for information)
- Analyzing competition for a query we were focusing on (these were short articles with lists of countries and average salaries)
- Analyzing the structure of competitor articles: all the articles were similar, without a special structure
- Writing an article using H1-H3 headers. We decided to make this article more interesting and informative. We compared salaries in different countries, including trends and factors affecting them, which gave us advantage over competitors. We also selected TF-IDF keywords to strengthen the intent of the topic.
It’s important to avoid writing articles similar to competitors’. Instead, you should consider the analysis results and do better.
